Welcome to Bath Artisans!

The Bath Artisans was founded in 1991. Our mission is to promote interaction among members by  sharing our knowledge in an enthusiastic and enjoyable manner through meetings  and workshops. We will encourage members working in diverse mediums and  inform and educate each other in our rich variety of artistic endeavours. We  support the display and sale of the creative pieces in our local and remote venues.  We will contribute our talents in the community by getting involved as  opportunities arise.

Bath Artisans has a current membership of 32, including watercolourists, acrylic and oil painters, woodworkers, jewellery makers, fused and stained glass artists, glass painters, fibre artists, sculptors, card-makers, and photographers.

We get together weekly on Monday at the St. John's Community Centre in Bath, Ontario, where we paint and create together, enjoying our art and each other's company. The Bath Artisans membership meets monthly and these meetings often include a presentation or demonstration. We hold at least two annual member show-and-sale events (Spring and Fall), along with other shows and activities during the year.

Membership in the Bath Artisans is open to any artist/artisan in the greater Bath area and includes Bath, Odessa, Kingston, Napanee, Enterprise, Tamworth, etc. Current membership fee is $30.00, due in September for the following year. If you would like to join the Bath Artisans, please contact a member of the Executive below, or better yet, stop by St. John's Community Centre on a Monday with some of your artwork.

Collage Workshop Session 2

We would like to announce that the next part of the Collage Workshop will take place on Monday March 30 2026 at 9:30 am.

The cost for members is $15.00 and non members $25.00. Feel free to bring a quest or friend.

If you attended the first session you may bring back the work you did in February and we will be able to discuss the process of starting a collage and layering.

We will be learning how to create your own papers, such as painting on white tissue and making a transfer with acrylic paint on printer paper. (bring some printer sheets with you) and a white plastic garbage bag to use for the transfer .

Also you will experiment with a Gelli plate and a brayer or small wooden roller to make transfers with stencils, etc.

Please contact Margaret Brackley or Ina Black to confirm your attendance.

We will again be supplying lots of materials to work with and if you are new to this workshop please advise and we will send you a supply list.

Looking forward to another fun day and your fantastic works

Ina and Margaret
