Bath Artisans contribute to "Art for Nurses" project

Last year Barbara Simard, member of Bath Artisans, presented one of her fabric sculptures to a member of the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO) as a thank you. Since then dozens of local area artists have enthusiastically offered their art in monthly draws, kicking off an ongoing project to recognize our nurses and local artists.

Shown here, BA member Carolyn Huff-Winters presenting her painting "The Gathering" to Emma Vaughan, top right. "The Gathering" is a 16" x 20" powdered charcoal on canvas finished with acrylics.  Bottom right, Doris Power presents her piece "Amaryllis", a watercolour mono-print, to Jen Atkins, a nurse working on the surgical floor of Hotel Dieu Hospital.
