Bath Artisans contribute to "Art for Nurses" project
Last year Barbara Simard, member of Bath Artisans, presented one of her fabric sculptures to a member of the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO) as a thank you. Since then dozens of local area artists have enthusiastically offered their art in monthly draws, kicking off an ongoing project to recognize our nurses and local artists.
Shown here, BA member Margaret Ray presenting her artwork at the October 2022 monthly draw to Nicole Taylor. Nicole is a nurse who works in the ICU at Kingston General Hospital, top right. She is the 22nd winner of the RNAO monthly art draw. Bottom right, Maria Bettencourt presents her painting to November winner, Tanya Lapointe-Green. Tanya also works as a nurse in the ICU at Kingston General Hospital.
