Carol Jackson

Carol Jackson is a Canadian artist who resides in Loyalist Township (Ontario).

After retirement, she began her artistic journey by taking a few evening art classes at St. Lawrence College, in Kingston. She continues to develop her skills through in-person and on-line courses, workshops and joining local art groups.

Carol experiments and creates art with acrylics, oils, watercolours, soft pastels, and charcoal mediums. Her inspiration comes from all parts of life: the human form, colours blending or exploding in nature, the soft or blurred edges of clouds or rocks in a brook, or, intrigued by a shape or form discovered in the cracks on pavement.

When she was in high school, she was the successful candidate of a marketing contest creating the logo for the Frontenac Board of Education; used from 1973 to 1999.

She has always had a desire to be artistically creative and she is now following her dream
