Carol Jackson
Carol Jackson is a Canadian artist residing in Loyalist Township (Ontario).
After 40+ years in the workforce, Carol retired and decided to start a new chapter in her life by creating art.
She continues to be focused on developing her skills through workshops, books, internet resources, and networking with local art groups. In addition, she enjoys exploring the mediums of acrylics, oils, watercolours, soft pastels, and charcoal.
Carol’s inspiration comes from all things around her; everything in “life and nature”; cityscapes; landscapes; the human form; animals; colours blending or exploding in nature; the soft or blurred edges of clouds or rocks in the waters’ shoreline; shapes discovered in the pattern on a floor, a crack in the sidewalk or a textured wall……
Creating art allows Carol to share, with others, what she finds intriguing and hopes other people might also be able to connect with; i.e. a memory of a moment; a similar or familiar place; or, just a deep sensation within, when viewing the art.
Art can be a delightful journey for both the artist and the viewer!
